3. Vaccines

Oral Application of Live Newcastle Decease Vaccine on day 14 and Gumboro Vaccine on day 18

To ensure broilers are kept in optimal health and production and to avoid large scale losses through death, vaccines prevent specific diseases by triggering the immune system of the birds to fight the disease through antibodies.

There are a number of diseases that broilers need to be vaccinated against of which Newcastle Disease (to vaccinate at all times) and Gumboro (to vaccinate only if already present in broiler house) are the most common.

3.1 Newcastle Disease

3.2 Gumboro

4.2 Healthy Chicken Juice & Chicken Probiotic

Broiler have genetically been selected over many years to grow exponentially to reach target weight for slaughter in a very short period of time.  The combination of the healthy chicken juice and probiotics may help to unlock that genetic potential.

It is important to realise that no matter what product is used, that there will always be certain factors that can prevent a broiler from performing as expected and there is therefore no substitution for high quality day old broilers, good hygiene and management practices, good and acceptable infrastructure, high quality consistent feed and clean potable water at all times.

There is no withdrawal period with both products.  When using theseproducts it is important to continue vaccinating as normal (please refer SC Broiler Vaccination Manual).

4.2.1 Chicken Probiotic

The multi-strain probiotic inoculate the intestinal tract from the start, the moment the day old broilers arrive on the farm and drink their first drink. This limits the exposure and inoculation of the broilers to less beneficial environmental bacteria. The benefits include higher immunity and food absorption.

Storage instructions:

Can be stored in a cool dry place for up to four months.

4.2.2 Healthy Chicken Juice

Once the correct bacteria has been established, Healthy Chicken Juice support the bacteria and broiler with a high-quality mixture of plant extracts and essential oils to ensure more consistent growth and support throughout the rest of the cycle.

Storage instructions:

Can be stored in a cool dry place for up to two years.
